Constituency Officer (Washington and Sunderland West)
Candidate for St. Anne's Ward

I am the Conservative candidate for St Anne’s Ward in the May 2021 local elections.

I have lived in Sunderland for the majority of my life, growing up in Pennywell, attending Quarry View Primary School and then Pennywell Comprehensive School. Following a short spell in Thorney Close, my wife and I lived in Eden Vale where we began our family, before moving back to the ward in Havelock Park in 2010.  My career began as an Apprenticed Electrician, following in my father's footsteps with a trade that has (and continues to) served me well. I have run my own small electrical businesses on two separate occasions, whilst also managing teams in a call centre, lecturing in FE college and working as a Quality Manager for a large local electrical company.

I proudly graduated in 2013 with a BSc Honours Degree from the Open University, and have amassed a number of career-related qualifications throughout my various employments. This education and experience enables me to confidently communicate with people at all levels within a range of industries, which I believe will make me a strong and competent councillor.
