About Antony 

Antony Mullen is the Leader of the Sunderland Conservatives and a councillor for Barnes Ward on Sunderland City Council, first elected in 2018 (winning a seat from Labour) and re-elected in 2022 with an increased majority.

From 2019-2020, Antony was Deputy Leader of the Sunderland Conservatives on the City Council.

He was Association Chairman in Sunderland between 2019 and 2021 and Deputy Chairman (Political) between 2017 and 2019.

Outside of politics, Antony is a university academic.
