St Peter's Councillors Deliver Their Latest Newsletter 

 

This month the St Peter's Councillors have been delivering their latest newsletter, alongside a survey for local residents of Roker and Monkwearmouth to have their say on local crime, ASB and police priorities. 

Cllrs Josh McKeith, Lynn Vera and Sam Johnston have welcomed over £1 millions worth of investment into Roker Park. The planned improvements include: 

- Repairing the wooden bridge, bandstand and park lodge

- Upgrading the lodge for a range of offices and community uses

- Restoring the Fairy Dell to a working condition 

- Opening a new cafe and amphitheatre near the bandstand 

- Establishing a community allotment

- Measure to tackle rat infestations and ASB.
