James Doyle

Deputy Leader of the Sunderland Conservatives
Deputy Chairman (Political)
Councillor for Fulwell Ward

I currently serve as a councillor for Fulwell ward, as well as Deputy Leader of the Council Group and Deputy Chairman (Political) of the Association.

As a property professional working in Sunderland, I have a strong grasp of what is needed to regenerate the city’s long-neglected city centre. This interest in city development is carried through into his role as the Council’s opposition Economy spokesman. I also sit on the Council’s Shadow Carbon Reduction Board, a position which reflects my passion for sustainability and commitment to achieving a net zero carbon future.
