St Chad's Councillor Dominic McDonough has written to the Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner last month following reports that officers failed to respond to break ins in Lakeside Village DESPITE the fact that the criminals were reportedly still in the property.

Cllr McDonough stated

"This is becoming a regular occurrence and it is simply not good enough, and more should be expected from our police force. The Police and Crime Commissioner should be focusing more on improving our police services and less about political campaigning on behalf of the Labour party."
